Rules & Regulations for Fashion Designers

1. Eligibility:
a. All participating designers must adhere to the principles of sustainability, ethical production, and wellness in their collections.
b. Designers must have a proven track record of creating high-quality, innovative, and eco-conscious fashion.

2. Application Process:
a. Interested designers must submit an application form along with a portfolio showcasing their relevant work by May 30, 2024.
b. The Event Organizer will review all applications and select designers based on the quality, originality, and alignment with the show’s theme.

3. Collection Requirements:
a. Designers must present a cohesive collection that aligns with the Sustainable & Wellness Fashion Show’s focus on eco-friendly, health-conscious, and socially responsible fashion.
b. All garments and accessories must be made from sustainable materials, such as organic cotton, recycled fabrics, or plant-based fibers.
c. Designers must provide detailed information about the sourcing, production, and ethical practices employed in creating their collections.

4. Runway Show Participation:
a. Selected designers will be allocated a specific number of runway looks/models based on their participation package.
b. Designers must adhere to the event’s scheduling and logistics, including fittings, rehearsals, and show times.
c. Any changes to the runway lineup or designs must be communicated to the Event Organizer in advance.

5. Masterpiece Display:
a. Designers who purchase a masterpiece display slot must provide their selected outfits and any necessary display materials by August 30, 2024.
b. The Event Organizer reserves the right to curate the final display layout and arrangement.

6. Panel Discussions and Workshops:
a. Designers participating in panel discussions or workshops must prepare relevant content and materials in advance and submit them to the Event Organizer for approval.
b. All content must align with the show’s theme and adhere to the event’s guidelines for speakers and presenters.

7. Intellectual Property:
a. Designers retain ownership of their designs and collections showcased during the event.
b. By participating in the Sustainable & Wellness Fashion Show, designers grant the Event Organizer the right to use images and videos of their designs for promotional and archival purposes related to the event.

8. Liability and Insurance:
a. Designers are responsible for the safety and security of their garments, accessories, and any personal belongings during the event.
b. The Event Organizer shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or theft of designers’ property.
c. Designers are encouraged to obtain appropriate insurance coverage for their participation in the event.

9. Code of Conduct:
a. Designers must conduct themselves professionally and respectfully towards fellow designers, models, event staff, and attendees.
b. Any behavior deemed inappropriate or disruptive may result in the designer’s removal from the event.

10. Sustainability and Ethical Practices:
a. Designers must be transparent about their production processes, supply chains, and efforts to minimize their environmental impact.
b. Any claims related to sustainability or ethical practices must be accurate and substantiated.

By agreeing to participate in the Sustainable & Wellness Fashion Show, designers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these rules and regulations. The Event Organizer reserves the right to amend or update these rules as necessary.
